Lifelong learning is necessary for each person’s growth. New knowledge, communication skills in a foreign language, impressions and experiences enrich person, and inspire for new activities, goals and aspirations.
We are glad that Lithuanians and Latvians had the opportunity to meet face-to-face and participate in the Workshop “Be inspired and brave”. This time the two-day event took place in Jelgava (Latvia) on 20-21 April, 2022.
During the workshop, project coordinator presented the “Business Book”, which contains the stories from more than thirty entrepreneurs who started their activities at the age of 50+ and later. On the first day of the Event, three businesswomen from Latvia told the participants their start-up stories: Inga Birkava, Inna Deņisova, Irina Prazdnicāne. In the afternoon, we visited the premises of Daigas Šķinķe, the founder of Livonijas dzintars. We learned about the production of creams, aroma therapy and to tried the products. On the second day of the workshop, participants worked in groups and solved real business simulation situations, and presented non-traditional solutions for nontypical cases.
